The 3rd round of New RC Club Race 2012 was held in Bangkok at New RC Track in this past weeked 6th May. JQ Thai drivers did a great job with this race Chatchai K. got 1st place on the podium and his team mate Ekkalak K. got 3rd place. This is only the 2nd time they were running JQ Products in Thailand. Congrats to Chatchai and Ekkalak well done!
The 2nd race of the Dutch 2012 season took place on the circuit of Mach One in Helmond last week end. Practice day was rained out, and it even rained lightly on Sunday, raceday, but the track was astroturf, so the race was run. Drivers were searching for the right setup and / or tires but it soon became clear that whatever you did, the track was slippery. The qualifications were a real spectacle of pirouettes and slides. Fastest skater service proved JQ-driver Jorg Van Leuken.
In the afternoon the rain stopped and the final was run on a dry track. In the mainfinal, Jorg van Leuken took off from pole and drove fast. He was never really threatened and drove unchallenged to his first win of the season. After his poor start Jeffrey Halsema took the second spot. The third place was a very consistent Paul Geelen.
