Hi, After giving THECar a shakedown the one thing I noticed there was fuel around the mid join and underside of the fuel tank. It does seem like a slight leak on the seal. I have tried putting in the water to see if any bubbles appear when blowing through the fuel line but nothing!

Are you aware of any potential issues with the tank? if there is a known issue can parts be returned and replaced by the reseller?

Thanks,
Howard

Loosen the screw on the plastic piece that holds the seal in, and it will be ok.

Thanks JJQ, I will give that a try. I had a full race day and picked up on some things you may want to know about whilst racing. I'll put them in another post. Many thanks, H

Did that for the last race and had no problem with any fuel leaking. Thanks, H

one thing i saw with the fuel tank on my car is that the holes for the pin on the lid and the tank are not right, as in, with the pin in it trys to put the lid a a angel with the tank and you have a air leak at the rear of the tank, i have tried to sand the inside part of the tank and enlarged the holes for the pin to make the lid sit more level but it still sucks air and motors dont run right. im thinking of triming the gaskit on the lid to fit better too, anyone eles see this with there tanks?

Put the big throttle linkage collets on the ends of the spring.

Are you sure it is not just from overfilling the tank?
