when building the shocks how far do you screw the end onto the rod, i always screwed them on full by hand then measured both side making them equal by measuring the distance between the shock body and the rod end when they are fully extended but when i did this with the car shocks i was way too short with the droop setting is there a setting for this instead of having to take them off adjust them and try again

thanks i will give that a go although i thought the piston came very close to the shock bladder and that was with the shock ends screwed on full

It should be ok when all parts are in place ( I mean spring retainer,shock boots and stuff),I can measure the exact length and let u know if u want,so lmk...

has anyone tried useing the Losi red springs from a 2.0 buggy in the rear yet?
there are a couple guys using them around my local tracks and they say its much better...

Yes Losi red rear springs are good specially on loose tracks.
